On March 27th, 2025, as the president and founder of Finding Scoliosis Kindly (FiSK) Club, OlaRose Ndubuisi led the 2nd Annual FiSK Club Music Concert at Pittsford Mendon High School. 11 students and staff performed, sharing their love for music with the school community. 60 students and staff attended the beautiful 1-hour event.

Before each performance, OlaRose asked the musicians what they liked about music or playing their instrument. They all shared lovely sentiments including that music is a universal language and that music is a therapeutic outlet for them. For the last performance, OlaRose shared her first music composition “Winter Waltz” and explained how she began composing music while recovering from scoliosis surgery.

The concert reflected the purpose of Finding Scoliosis Kindly (FiSK) Club – to create a positive, compassionate environment for people to connect and express themselves through creative outlets. 

OlaRose thanks the musicians who performed, and to the audience members for supporting them. She appreciates her FiSK Club Advisor, Mrs. Curtis, for helping advertise the event, Mr. Bell for the Audio-Visual assistance, and Mr. Maguda and the Music Department for providing a keyboard and music stands. OlaRose thanks her mom for her support, setting up the snacks and drinks, and taking videos.
