On December 26, 2022, family and friends came together in solidarity to show love and support to OlaRose as she prepared for her scoliosis surgery. OlaRose shared the inspiration behind her latest artwork called, “My Perspective of Scoliosis”, and received blessings before her surgery.

OlaRose started a project to raise global awareness for scoliosis called “Finding Scoliosis Kindly” (FiSK). She developed a research survey to educate and create awareness about the physical, social, and mental effects of Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis, while advocating for early screening and empowering the community, especially young people.

As OlaRose prepared for, underwent, and recovered from her scoliosis surgery, well-wishers showed their support on social media with the tags #wehaveyourbackolarose and #findingscoliosiskindly.
