OlaRose was chosen as one of two New York State winners for the Prudential Emerging Visionaries Award for her project, “The Finding Scoliosis Kindly Project”, along with a $5000 prize. Attached are some photos and videos about her project.

Prudential Emerging Visionaries honors exceptional students ages 14-18 who have created innovative, bold solutions to financial and societal challenges in their communities.

25 winners chosen from over 700 projects were awarded $5000 each, and were chosen based on their innovative solution, its meaningful impact to their communities, and their deep understanding of the issue and passion to make change and inspiring others to take action.

Winners were invited to an all-expenses-paid three-day trip to the Prudential Summit and award’s ceremony at the Prudential headquarters in April in Newark, New Jersey, where they will interact with other changemaker peers and mentors, and receive coaching and skills development to help take their initiative to the next level.
