The Finding Scoliosis Kindly (FiSK) Writing and Art Workshop at Brighton Memorial Library was wonderful. 12 people were in attendance.
OlaRose enjoyed getting to know the kids that came. One of the participants kindly drew a lovely picture of OlaRose.
In light of Halloween, the main prompt was about overcoming one’s fears. Kids and parents participated eagerly in the creative activities, connected with one another, and shared their own experiences and invisible struggles. OlaRose is glad that FiSK Workshops foster a compassionate environment where people can express themselves freely and creatively.
OlaRose looks forward to leading more FiSK Workshops for kids. Watch out for upcoming FiSK Writing and Art Workshops in collaboration with libraries in your community.
