As the New York State Youth Poet Laureate, OlaRose Ndubuisi is leading Finding Scoliosis Kindly (FiSK) Writing and Art Workshops for kids ages 10-18.

The first FiSK Writing and Art Workshop was a success! At the Henrietta Public Library in Rochester, NY, OlaRose taught 13 participants about scoliosis and led them through creative art and writing prompts. Children and parents answered the prompts by writing stories, poems, journal entries, and drawing pictures. They shared their pieces with the group and commented positively on one another’s work. The kids were engaged, eagerly participated, and asked thoughtful questions about scoliosis.
